An oasis among olive trees

For the VIP Club area at Autopía 2026, Clara del Río developed an event design and a piece of temporary architecture drawn from the atmosphere of Bedouin tents, conceived as a place to meet where landscape, craft and design speak to one another naturally.

Set deep in the open country, the project embraces the olive trees already there with a deck moulded on site and laid with rugs chosen in Marrakech. The furniture, designed for the event, sits among handwoven textiles, ceramics, blown glass and planting carefully chosen to build an enveloping, sensory experience.

The composition turns on a central core reimagined as a contemporary fire, through a sculptural installation of metal cacti on the CDR modular table. Around it, sofas, poufs and traditional textiles make a cosmopolitan atmosphere that joins craft, material and contemporary hospitality.
